Overview
Shot on Super 8mm film in East Lyme, Connecticut in the summer of 2025, LYMELIGHT is an improvisational exercise in light, color, and motion, inspired by the films of Marie Menken and the free jazz of Ornette Coleman. In it, the filmmaker attempts to reconcile his ambivalent feelings about fireworks on film versus fireworks in real life.
